Picnic in honour of District Governor Jean-Marie Fumery and Lady Jacqueline
On the 10th January 2016, the Rotary Club of Victoria and the Rotary Club Coco de Mer organised a picnic on Moyenne Island in honour of District Governor Jean-Marie Fumery and Lady Jacqueline who were in Seychelles on a working visit. The visitors had a chance to tour of the island and visit to a museum being set-up in honour of former owner of the island Brendon Grimshaw, who was also a Rotarian. Members of the 2 clubs then started the petanque competition which is now becoming a yearly friendly event between the 2 clubs. Governor Jean-Marie played alternatively with the 2 teams and proved to be quite a good player.
